“The clinic is led by Dr. Faisal Shaikh, FRCPsych (Consultant Psychiatrist). Other highly skilled team members will join our clinic soon.”

This badge is more than recognition, it’s proof of the experience our patients receive every day.
If you’re looking for clarity, support, and expert care — you’re in the right place.
The Mentis 360 Assessment is our flagship neurodivergence diagnostic pathway, designed to provide a thorough and compassionate evaluation of an individual’s neurodevelopmental profile.
This two-part model combines multidisciplinary specialist assessment with final review by a Consultant Psychiatrist, ensuring both clinical depth and senior medical oversight. Areas explored include autism, ADHD, emotional well-being, social functioning, masking and adaptation patterns, and functional impact.
Following the assessment, patients receive a comprehensive psychiatric report, refined collaboratively to ensure accuracy and relevance, and shared with the patient and their GP (with consent). This report can support workplace adjustments, education, and ongoing care planning.
Consultant Psychiatrist Reviews are suitable for individuals experiencing mental health difficulties outside of neurodivergence, or those with an existing diagnosis seeking expert guidance.
These appointments provide diagnostic clarification, treatment recommendations, and specialist advice tailored to the individual’s needs, delivered in a supportive and confidential setting.
Following any Consultant Psychiatrist Review, patients are entitled to one follow-up review within 4 weeks of their appointment at no additional charge.
This follow-up appointment allows an opportunity to review progress, clarify recommendations, discuss treatment responses, and address any further questions following the initial consultation.
At Mentis Clinic, we believe continuity, clarity, and ongoing support are an important part of delivering high-quality patient care.
For adults diagnosed with ADHD either at Mentis Clinic or elsewhere, we offer a structured medication and titration pathway delivered under medical supervision.
The pathway includes regular clinical reviews, symptom monitoring, dose optimisation, and side-effect tracking. Our aim is to ensure safe and effective treatment while supporting continuity of care and longer-term management.
Where appropriate, we work towards shared care arrangements with the patient’s GP following stabilisation.
Thrive & Adapt is a specialist psychoeducation programme designed to help neurodivergent adults better understand their diagnosis and its impact.
The programme supports self-awareness, practical coping strategies, improved daily functioning, and self-acceptance, helping individuals move forward with confidence and clarity.
confidential setting.
Following your assessment or consultation, we will prepare a structured clinical report summarising the discussion, outcomes, and any recommendations. A copy will be shared with you, and with your GP where consent has been provided.
We understand that questions can arise once you have had time to reflect. For all assessments and consultations (excluding the ADHD medication titration pathway), we do not charge for reasonable follow-up queries. If you need clarification about your report or treatment plan, you are welcome to contact us by message or phone.
Where treatment is recommended, we will guide you clearly through the next steps, ensuring you understand your options and feel supported in your decisions.
Our aim is not just to provide an assessment, but to ensure you leave with clarity, confidence, and ongoing support.
Due to current capacity limitations, Mentis Clinic is temporarily unable to accept new referrals for child patients. We understand this may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Following every type of consultation as above, a structured psychiatric report in the form of a letter will be issued to the patient’s GP in a timely manner (unless the patient does not consent for this to be shared with their GP) and a copy will be shared with the patient too.
